Baby Sling Safety Tips
- Pay attention to your baby at all times.
- Do not cook with your baby in the sling. Fabrics are not flame-retardant. It would actually be better if you do not consume any hot liquids or beverages while wearing your baby in it.
- Do not use a sling in place of a car seat when in a motor vehicle.
- It is not recommended to carry babies weighing over 35 lbs. The sling won’t break but your back might.
- Be sure that baby is well supported and properly situated inside the sling before you remove your hands from him. If you are not sure, practice first with a doll or stand in front of a mirror, to ensure that you are correctly placing and adjusting your sling.
- Do not use your sling while participating in strenuous exercise or activity.
- Always check that the fabric and seams of your sling are in good condition. Do not continue to use your it if it already shows signs of wear and tear.
- Please read the instructions carefully. Failure to do so can result in serious harm to your baby.
